Our Story
Providence Global Methodist Church
Providence Global Methodist Church is a vibrant, growing congregation in Asheville, North Carolina. We are part of the Global Methodist Church, a denomination that stands firmly on the authority of Scripture and the historic Christian faith as expressed through the Wesleyan tradition.
Our church is built on three pillars: we are Word Centered, grounding everything we do in the truth of God's Word; Prayer Driven, seeking God's guidance in all things; and Spirit Led, following the Holy Spirit's leading as we serve our community and the world.
Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Providence is a place where people from all walks of life come together to worship, grow in faith, and serve one another in love.
The Global Methodist Church is a worldwide denomination committed to the lordship of Jesus Christ, the authority of Scripture, and the Wesleyan tradition of faith and practice. With the tagline "Worshiping in Spirit & Truth," the GMC seeks to carry out the Great Commission by making disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.

Our Pastor
Jeremiah Chapman
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jeremiah Chapman serves as the Lead Pastor of Providence Global Methodist Church. He and his wife Leah share a deep love for the people of Western North Carolina and a passion for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Jeremiah is committed to expository preaching that is faithful to Scripture and relevant to daily life. He believes the local church is God's primary instrument for reaching the world, and he leads Providence with a vision for spiritual growth, authentic community, and missional engagement.
Under Pastor Jeremiah's leadership, Providence has become a church known for its warm hospitality, strong biblical teaching, and heart for service. His desire is to see every member of the congregation equipped and empowered to live out their faith in every area of life.
