Welcome to Providence Methodist

Providence Methodist is a new Methodist church that was founded in late 2023.  Our faith community consists of folks

from all over Buncombe, Madison and Henderson counties.    The congregation at Asheville North Seventh-day Adventist Church has graciously allowed us to worship in their sanctuary.

After a period of discernment, the congregation of Providence voted to join The Global Methodist Church.  Being part

of a larger, truly global movement of Methodists is a vital part of the classic Wesleyan model of church networks that

are theologically and socially aligned. The Global Methodist Church has a strong, orthodox doctrine based on

2,000 years of Christian teaching.

God has blessed Providence with a full-time pastor, Pastor Joe Harding who is leading our worship service with Bible based teaching and a worship service that is grounded in prayer, praise, Bible study, hymns of the faith and warm,

genuine Christian fellowship.
